Financial Planning Manager – BankingJob Purpose:This is a value added role with responsibility for budgeting, projections and financial analysis, including pricing assessment on new products / transactions.160; The role will also support and work with Executive and Senior Management in the development of group strategy, objectives and plans.160;160; 160;Key Responsibilities and Duties:Business Performance ReportingDevelopment of a decision support team within the Finance function and act as the Finance Business partner to the Homeloans, Banking, Treasury and Wealth Management units.Assist Business units across the Group in the preparation of business cases & models.Analyse and interpret results on business proposals including sensitivity analysis160;Pricing Analyst – including unit cost analysis, reviewing margins earned on existing products and analysing the profitability of new products.160;160;Development and reporting on relevant Key Performance indicators.Preparation of Board papers and ad hoc reports for Executive Committee as required.Supervision and development of Financial Planning and Pricing Analyst. 160;Budgeting & PlanningResponsible for the preparation of annual group budgets / rolling forecasts and long term plans.Develop and maintain financial models in order to ensure effective financial planning and forecastingPrepare and submit leading indicators to Group. 160;Systems and Processes:Streamline the MIS and reporting process to include Key Financial and Non Financial information.Develop new reports to support the growing businesses of the GroupPromoting relevant process improvement initiatives 160;CustomersEstablish and maintain relationship with customers and meet regularly with senior management to ensure all requirements are being metRequirements: Commercially minded qualified accountant160; and/ or MBA with at least 5 years PQE in a financial services Finance Function160;Excellent communication skills and the ability to work at all levels.Understanding of key business drivers for Retail & Business Corporate BankingUnderstanding of key financial analysis indicatorsKnowledge of Oracle Financials and Business Objects is an advantage.A proven track record of delivering high quality customer support160;For further information please contact Nikki Rooney on 01 640 1960, or email us directly
