Our client is one of the UK's leading firms of accountants and business advisors, which specialises in advising the management of developing private and public businesses.

Due to continuing development and expansion, an exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join their highly professional audit team. This role has a supervisory capacity and will include coaching and developing staff on client premises and in the office.

With a systematic approach to problem solving, you will identify risks and suggest potential solutions, assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment. Using your aptitude for communicating with clients, and building relationships, you will assess and identify clients’ needs to ensure the efficient execution of the audit. You will take primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements. A significant amount of time will be spent off-site at clients’ premises therefore a flexible approach to working hours is required.

Our client is looking for a methodical, highly organised and fully qualified Accountant with a broad range of audit experience to make this role a success. Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be an experienced user of audit software and IT systems with a good working knowledge of current economic and market trends. You will have a proven track record of delivering results and meeting client expectations. This role would suit a proactive and customer focussed team player with excellent analytical skills. Experience of working in the charities and social housing sector would be advantageous.
